Claudine Pace Zarb

Claudine obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal and Humanistic Studies at the University of Malta in 1999, while obtaining the Diploma of Notary Public in the following year. In 2001 she was awarded a Diploma in Canonical Marriage Cases, Jurisprudence and Procedure under the auspices of the Metropolitan Tribunal of Malta and in 2002 obtained a doctorate in law with a Thesis titled “The Effects of The Consumer Affairs (Amendment) Act (XXVI of 2000) on some Aspects of The Law of Obligations”.
She first joined BCGL Advocates in 2000, as part of her traineeship in preparation for the attainment of her warrant. Since being called to the Bar in 2003, she has worked mainly as a litigation lawyer, her main areas of specialization being civil, consumer, commercial and family law. She advises clients, assists them in lawsuits, and follows up judgements with effective and appropriate enforcement procedures.
Claudine also actively assists clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings. She appears in marriage annulment cases before the Metropolitan Tribunal and subsequently obtains civil recognition of the said judgments before the Maltese Courts.
Claudine speaks English, Maltese and Italian and is a member of the Maltese Chamber of Advocates.
